You have my sympathies Peter. All par for the course for long-suffering Force fans I'm afraid :-(( Personally speaking, the "best fans in Super Rugby" tag sometimes feels like the "best mugs in Super Rugby". But still we wear our blue-tinted spectacles and hope for the best!

I don't know the ins and outs of the locker room or the front office, but I'd like to know why they got rid of Samu Wara? Or am I in the minority by thinking he was promising?
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
not sure however i think he has since turned out for Fiji and it might have something to do with that as we can only carry one non aus test player

“Everyone knows whether it’s rugby, politics or whatever, front-rowers should rule the world, so to have a hooker at the helm makes sense,” Nathan Charles Western Force & Wallabies Hooker.
more on Samu here:

Turns out he knocked abck an offer to stay.
and some Journo has no clue "Wara, 26, who only last week decided to cut ties with Canberra’s Super Rugby franchise Western Force "

So even he didn't want to stay? Where the hell does this put us in the pecking order then??!!

he was after more Moolah, after all the grass is always greener.....
Sam was OK - nothing more than that. Good on attack, suspect in defence, IIRC.
Very suspect in defence. And at 26 he was getting a bit long in the tooth for a not yet Super Rugby standard outside back.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Did I hear the Fox commentators suggest that Alfie Mafi could be looking at Wallabies selection if his present try-scoring form continues? Would he want to go to Japan if that was the case?
Definitely - it was mentioned more than once. I thought the same exact thing - that would scupper any plans to go overseas, you'd have to think. Of course, that was only the Fox commentators speculating, and we all know that Robbie Deans has some peculiar selection criteria.
Still too many in front of him.
However that said with Cooper Vuna now possibly in strife although he appears to be the victim, Joe T injury prone and Henry S not legible for a while there may be slight opening.
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
But it was a former wallaby 12 who mentioned it - just like about the same time 12 months ago he mentioned about a certain wallaby scrumhalf moving west, so I'll believe it when I see it regarding a Wallabies call up.
