The Emirates Western Force have named an unchanged line-up to attack the Sharks in Durban this Saturday with the side eager to finish their South African tour with a win.
Emirates Western Force forwards coach Nick Stiles said the team had put the disappointment of the four point loss to the Cheetahs behind them and will concentrate on getting a good start on the Sharks.
“It’s been a focus for us over the last few weeks to start the game well against the South African sides because if you give them too much of a lead at the start of the game, it is difficult to close the gap,” said Stiles.
“It’s good to have the same 22 and have that continuity with our game plan and we’re starting to see some growth through our backs so we’ll definitely look to attack a lot more than last week.

| Force Team To Play Cheetahs Announced |
|

|
The Emirates Western Force has named a relatively unchanged side for their clash against the Cheetahs on Saturday evening in Bloemfontein with Richard Brown and Sam Wara elevated to the run on side from the bench.
Brown slots into the blindside flanker role while Matt Hodgson moves to No. 8 replacing Ben McCalman who hasn’t travelled with the side after aggravating an arm injury during the game against the Stormers.
Defence and Skills Coach Phil Blake said Brown had made a significant impact in his minutes against the Stormers and would be a valuable addition to the run-on side.
“Brownie’s performance last week warranted selection and he’s really energised and ready to expand on that effort on Saturday night,” Blake said.
“We’re expecting another solid effort from him again this... [Read More]

Emirates Western Force starting hooker Nathan Charles will continue his burgeoning career in Perth after committing to the club for at least the next two seasons.
Charles has enjoyed a breakout season in 2012 where he has started every match and consistently been one of the club’s best performers in an impressive forward pack. His efforts against the Stormers at nib Stadium last weekend earned Man of the Match honours.
After arriving in Perth as an injury replacement player during the 2010 season he has made massive strides forward and attracted the attention of national selectors with invitations to participate in Wallabies’ training camps.
Possessing an accurate throw and hard running style which makes him a valuable commodity in open play, Charles was keenly sought by competing franchises... [Read More]

| Force Squad Announced for South African Tour |

|
The Emirates Western Force will take a squad of 26 players when they head to South Africa tonight for a two match tour against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein and Sharks in Durban.
The squad includes a mix of experience and youth and will be a wonderful opportunity for the players to spend time together and concentrate on rugby.
“While there has been some distractions for the club it was good to get back playing last week and now we’ll look to take it up another level on the tour,” Forwards Coach Nick Stiles said.
“Everyone here understands that we have to improve week in week out, as a coaching staff that is something we’re excited about as well.
“Against the Stormers (last Saturday) I think there were plenty of positives to take out of it. They’re a very good side and sitting at... [Read More]
