There's only 4 sponsors listed on the Spirit website, tournament sponsor Mazda, team sponsor ET Mining, Coca Cola and 6PR. Strangely though, they have programmed Richmond v Collingwood

Why would you sponsor a team you are going to ignore

I didn't. Knocked-off before TG suggested it. I imagine it would be the usual "Love to but can't because of on-going AFL commitments. But we'll give updates during the broadcast"

90.5 has Ray Hadley's "Continuous dribble team" coverage of the NRL.

Just spoke with 6PR programing department.

6PR are sponsors of the Perth Spirit however they have no interest broadcasting ANY ARC matches this year. They will be doing Force matches next year.

Surely there is a local station that could do with some exposure and has a GENUINE support for this new competition.

    Nobody is doing it.
89.7 Twin Cities FM we're looking at it, but as their handsome host of Rugby Radio had committed Rugby World Cup coverage (of all the bars in Europe) sadly no one is, so if you can't go best to text someone who is to keep abreast of the scoring - apparently 6PR will do score update (but an AFL is on at the same time so don't hold your breathe).
Best tune into 89.7 FM Rugby Radio http://www.twincitiesfm.com.au/ at 8am for all the latest news!!!

I'm sure with the mobile phone interface I set up on TWF - someone on a data plan with their mobile phone carrier could post live threads direct from the game. I'm way too poor for such extravagences ...
