Waratahs (or the boys from Oxford St)
Crusaders (wearing the red & black)
Crusaders (wearing the FORCE colours)
Sorry folks, I'm heading to Christchurch for the long weekend and it appears that there is a rugby match taking place on Saturday......I need your assistance in choosing who to support.....
1. Waratahs.....aka powder puff boys
2. Crusaders....wearing Crusaders' gear
3. Crusaders.....wearinggear
(TG has generously agreed to 1000/1 odds if I'm spotted on tv......thanks, TG)
For those that don't know, Mrs Jedi is a passionate Crusaders fan having grown up in Christchurch & she 'persuaded' me to join her in spending the long weekend in Christchurch. Even better, she has managed to secure tickets for the final through a contact who works for the Crusaders (and who will be joining Aussie Rob in Australia very shortly).
My only concern is that we're flying via Sydney & the flights may be full of powder puff blue wearing Oxford St types!!!!
Have a great weekend all!!!!!!
Can't wait to see the Crusaders' CHEERLEADERS in the flesh.....![]()

CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
So much for keeping it a secret til you were at the airport Jedi!
Gotta be option 3.![]()
I made Happy sad...
Thanks Jess - I had to arrange some cold weather gear from TIF so it was becoming public knowledge. Cast your vote.![]()
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
I did.
I'm guessing the Tahs vote came from Chook.![]()
I made Happy sad...
Yep - option 3. However, I think you are allowed to wear a lesser Crusaders accessory such as a scarf, cap, beanie, stubbie holder...
Even better - get a t-shirt made up with big letter AUSSIE-ROB and Deans' face on it![]()
Do the right thing Jedi and support the local brewery!
Have hellova time and most of all enjoy yourself!
Brother Gallagher I hear you
Option 3 mate - but surprise Mrs Jedi with option 2 in the bedroom after - the dance of the seven shirts etc.. after all that Kiwi hospitality ... never know might beat Em and Harry to the church![]()
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
When travelling, it is your duty as a good visitor to eat, drink, and barrack local, but not to forget where you're from
We were in Italy during the last (soccer) world cup, and, man, those guys are NUTSWe cheered for Orstraya when they played, and I-TAL-YA when they didn't. Good times! (But am still dirty about the dive).

it is the courage to continue that counts.

What ever you do, don't wear a Waratahs Jersey - unless you have no intention of scoring....
