Oh that's gotta be one of the most heartbreaking ways to end (and lose) a match doesn't it, missing the ball!
Only read the first page, so in regards to booing at a sports match: ugh?
That's pretty much all I have to say on that.
I want to be unique - just like everybody else!
well said.
I made Happy sad...
Not a fan of booing, unless its when the ref gets something completly wrong
Not even then. Come on, who here has ref'd?
I tried doing it once for hockey and hated it. That was with maybe 30 people on the sideline......
I want to be unique - just like everybody else!
Ive been various different sporting officials (except a rugby ref). You cop it from everywhere.
Try being a 15 year old referee in western sydney at a rugby league game
I've reffed as well and if I make a bad call I reckon i deserve to be booed, I try not to make patently stupid calls that's just it.
I won't boo every decision a ref gives against us, only the PLAINLY OBVIOUS ones!
That's just the way I roll sista!
C'mon the
I will only ever boo when there's complete and utter unsportsman ship behaviour. So I boo at the offending player. Not ever at the Ref... he's trying his best.
I made Happy sad...
I boo him because odds are i want to call him something i can't print here and theres children sitting around me at the game
What was it? ~27,000 people watching.... waiting to boo... no pressure
I want to be unique - just like everybody else!
I normally shout "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" at the ref, could that be confused for a "booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"...perhaps the end bit?
Other than that, not a boo from me unless ofcourse, its the last minute of the game and the opposition is taking a game-winning penalty..desperate times, desperate measures.
Sunday I was begging Danny to go for the kick!
I would've taken a drop goal attempt!
C'mon the
