Whats that? another home game? where I can swill midstrength and share the company of my rugby mates?
jolly good idea!
scratch or not, I cant wait. It could be a 100 point blow out for all I care, its another day at the rugby, don the blue suit and have a good time
I'm pretty sure our best side would still get pumped by the B&I Lions worst side. It'll still be fun to go and support the boys. More rugby = awesome.
coz Stone Cold says so
You've got to play your best team against the Lions. You only get a once in a lifetime crack at those guys. Let whoever is left play against the Waratahs with the knowledge that they will get a few weeks off rugby after that. You could easily use the bench and any fit players from the Lions against the Waratahs e.g. Cottrell might be on the bench in one and starting in the other, etc.
I don't think that's fair. Nick Cummins was pencilled in to start a Test around 2009 or 2010, but received a foot injury and missed out. When he came back he was not nearly in the form he was pre-injury. I think his non-selection up until 2012 was fair enough. He wasn't in that great form before that point.

Fair comment, but I don't think he'd have got a look in even in 2012 were it not for the fact that everyone else was injured and they had to play him. I guess that's what I meant about the selection policy and the irony of the situation we have now where he's a protected species.
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
Fair enough
Deans sometimes seems obsessed with bringing Drew Mitchell in far too soon.
Sometimes the cynic in me wonders if Cummins was included in a very small part so that the Force would have at least one rep in the Wallabies squad.

If we score two tries like the ones WA did last time then I will go home happy
No chance of finals for the Force in the Super Rugby so I would have thought we would go at the Lions with a pretty strong side
The Force season is farked
The only thing that can be taken from another shambles is to beat the Lions
Pulver and his chronies at HQ have given the franchises a licence to biff. The Lions will be softened up for the tests. This is the first time they will play a professional team in Perth many of whom are in contention for a wallabies jersey.
The Force will be at full strength and mad as hell.
The Force are coming off a win.
The Force are flying under the radar. The Lions are arriving only a few days before the game and will be full of p1ss and hungover from male bonding and soiling some wild oats in Dullsville or managing the STD organisms from an Asian stopover and late night ping pong.
Madness is lining up. The backrow has been on fire. The frontrow has been aiming up. The backline is starting to form some combinations.
I smell the boilover of the millenium.
I wish it wasn't at Spewbie. That ground is the worst for viewing rugby on the planet and is an insult to rugby supporters.
Rex will be there with Tommy TC and his sisters that were supposed to be boys. Tickets arrived in the mail today. I phoned the debacle organiser at 7AM and waited impatiently on the phone to find out where the tickets were. The woman had a sexy voice so I was unusually pleasant.
The tickets arrived in the afternoon
Lets get it on
