    It is a wonder that ANYTHING actually gets done in this state...

    I reckon we should have nabbed that Chinese billionaire that was here a few weeks back (the one who wants to build a milk powder plant here) and put him up in the Governors house on St George's Tce, given him carte Blanche (however you spell that) to control our state utilities and a small list of state needs and let him go to work. He'd take no sh1t and we'd possibly move into the current century...
    Sure it'd piss off a lot of people and a few people would in all likelihood be hurt (or just disappear!) but that's the price of progress...right?

    If crown does stump up half a bill, what will they want in return?

    Could just be another stadium controlled by someone charging everyone else an arm and a leg to use it.

    I thought the Chinese were already controlling the State by buying up all our natural resources!!
