Hurricanes v Brumbies at Porirua Tonight
Hurricanes e-newsletter, Friday, 29 January 2010
All the excitement and atmosphere of the Rebel Sport Super 14 will be brought to Trust Porirua Park tonight, when the Hurricanes take on the Brumbies in their second pre-season game.
Four All Blacks join the Hurricanes squad this week after last weekend’s monumental outing in Mangatainoka, where the Hurricanes narrowly went down 19-17 to the Blues.
The day will be a fantastic opportunity for the community to get up close and personal with their favourite Hurricanes and All Blacks stars, who will meet and greet fans while signing autographs before and after the game.
Kick-off is at 5.30pm, but proceedings get off to a festive start at 3.30pm when the Hurricanes Zone has its first outing for the year. The Hurricanes Zone is a travelling mini carnival which provides entertainment for the whole family, so make sure you’re there to enjoy several large interactive rugby inflatables, a free BBQ courtesy of More FM, a signing session with the players, face painting and heaps of giveaways.
Adult tickets are $10 and kids are free. Tickets can be purchased on the gate.

$10. That is value!
and a nice touch up to go with the "Almost" full strength brumbies 26-5 FT.
Nice. Fingers crossed they will stay undercooked for the season opener.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
no Wallabies in the Brumbies team though.
C'mon the![]()

No longer a Wallaby
You heard it here first, just need the facts to come in line now!
Shepherdson, Harrison, Hoiles and Valentine are all ex-Wallabies, I note you didn't mention them
I'm not sure about Leiliifano, did he line up for a tour match or something?

Do we count Sharpey and Shep then?

Yes, they will return to the team!

Mortlock's washed up.......he won't play international ball again........why am I hooking you when I was really trolling for Mudskippers?
C'mon the![]()

done a runner.........
No hooking, just clarifying the selection criteria according to Gigs in the absence of mudguts.![]()

We must be missing muddie!![]()
If that's all it was, I'll let you know. If you're a Forceman and you've been anywhere near Wallaby training (ie in Sydney within a week of it ocurring) or a match (Including watching from the stands as a young child) you are a Wallaby, If you're in any other team you're not a Wallaby unless you're in the current run on 15, even then, you're just warming a place until the Force Wallaby can be bothered turning up..........clear?
