It's a Rays and Rebels Final

Predictability is severely overrated. The weekend's rugby results have shown favouritism means nothing, and the underdog is enjoying its time basking in the sun, whether we like it or not. In the first ARC semi-final, the expected did happen as the Central Coast Rays downed the Perth Spirit to secure the first berth in the final. But from there, the form guide was emphatically shredded, as the Wallabies and All Blacks lost in the quarter finals of the World Cup, and then the red hot Western Sydney Rams were beaten by the new kids in town- the Melbourne Rebels- in the second ARC semi. The inaugural ARC final will be fought out between the Rays and Rebels on Saturday afternoon in Gosford, while Australia and New Zealand will be notable absentees from Paris this weekend.
