Did I see that there will be world club championship compo being played in Singapore and the EWF will represent Australia. What a fanstaic idea!! be good experiance for the boys aye if this is true lets hope it gets better coverage than last seasons comp.
Not so much good experience BDavey as a cheaper way of doing the Development tour.
Great initiative, but really I think this comp is more of a sanctioned training tour for all involved at this point. SIngapore rugby might be able to turn it into something more by ensuring a good bit of prize money, big crowds and a heap of good press. That'll make winning the thing more attractive and coaches will be less likely to put on the academy players.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa

I would imagine those prices will flucuate with various sales between now and then
they should drop once some more international carriers start doing Domestic Routes within Australia as the Federal Government removed the laws preventing them from doing those routes. We have already seen what Tiger Airways can do, they have a 50% off sale recently (or it could still be going) and they also had a buy 1 seat get the 2nd seat free offer just after Christmas I think. Shame they only fly to MElbourne and Adelaide domestic routes at the moment
the only bad thing is that beer is more expensive in singapore.
