Horwill has had this coming for awhile.. He and Simmons have been dirty for a while and that's 2 red cards in 6 weeks... I feel he just does not want to be at the reds.. and could not get out of his contract.

I posted earlier that the reds have some real internal problems and one is how much players are paid.. That's why last yr heaps left the reds for other places as I think they were all told there were no pay rises and they spent lots of money on KH JOC and thompson So I reckon Horwill cracked the shits and this is how he is paying the reds back. Both times he has been shown leaving the field he is laughing.. Suck eggs reds

Inconsistent treatment or Horwill by SANZAR.

Horwill's forearm jolt/stiff forearm is standard practice for Potgeiter and many other South Africans SXV players when entering a ruck.

It's about time that the refs cracked down on it.

I'd also like to see more focus on the around the neck/head wrenching cleanouts.

Do you remember the one where Hodgo was grabbed around the neck and driven head first into the turf at NIB?
AND it happened right in front of the ref and assistant.

I don't think that we should wait for the first serious injury before something is done about this type of thuggery.

There was a story that Barnes was going to cover for cooper when he broke his collarbone. Wonder if that'll start back up now.
If he runs out in a Queensland Jersey at suncorp, or trains at ballymore again I'm gonna have to go watch just to see the reaction of the Reds supporters firsthand. I'm thinking it will be hysterical

Nah. A lot of guys probably don't want to be at the Reds right now, but Horwill isn't too worried about what players like KH, JOC and so on are paid.

He's on a pretty good wicket but wasn't quite on the same as Cooper and Genia, for example. That doesn't really faze Horwill. In fact he could probably buy and sell those guys twenty times over because his family is one of the wealthiest in the state (worth north of $100m).

What would bother him more is that his own game is just not what it was since that last major leg injury some time back. His rugby career has likely peaked and he's on the downslide.
