The Western Force has had a name change to 'WestForce' and will be entering the new Boyband version of Australian Idol

The only line which has stuck in my memory is .."this is our town".

Its going to make a lot of sense singing that in Sydney or Capetown !

I hate to look to the Poms for any sort of inspiration when it comes to sport. But their supporters have got it down. If West Ham can sing I Blow Bubbles and make it sound good then we have to be able to work with this! A little bit of a re-work and it could be OK. It doesn't sound "as bad" on the making of video and I think its because it doesn't have the "straight out of the 80's" glam rock guitar as the main backing music.

But I still think it sucks chocolate starfish as far as a Team song goes.

Apparently the word has reached Rugby League circles that Western Force are now coached by Chocolate Starfish. Hopoate is already on the plane for talks with the club.
