Just watched Bulls vs Sharks.I reckon all 6 six starting loosies play better SUPER rugby than Bam.I think he plays test rugby better than super rugby. The 6 mental cases on show this morning made our backrow look like a load of homeless people waiting in line at a kitchen handout. If he goes then at least we might be able to get a giant that makes tackles and hits the defensive line at REAL pace instead of a trundle.
I think he has said he will make a decision at the end of the season and that is when he is going to make his decision.
I think he has the integrity to make the best call for the team in regard to picking the best coach regardless of if he is playing here or not.
I think he would find it emotionally very difficult to leave the roots he has woven at the Force, in Perth and around Western Australia.
I think he is a person who puts a huge amount of weight in being a one team player.
I think he would see great examples of not chasing the bright lights, foresaking the opportunity to build something more meaningful in Nathan Sharpe, Juan Smith, Heinrich Brussow, Keven Mealamu (who saw the error of his earlier departure), Jamie Mackintosh and the retired Carl Hayman and Anton Oliver to cite just a few.
I think he is mature enough to know life is more than buying championships.
I think he will lead the Force into battle next year.
That's what I think.
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
