Welsh Rugby Fan - First up - my thoughts go out to your young bloke I hope he is fighting the good fight, and if there is anything we at TWF can do to make his day that little bit brighter please dont be afraid to ask. I think that your suggestion is a brilliant idea but having a sit back and a think about it can I offer a suggestion or 2 to help it get a little further down the road to success.

We are lucky enough to have a member or 2 here who work for the Force Jersey Supplier ISC. Seldom is also the boss of the Western Force Super Store, i am sure that if you asked him nicely enough he would be able to point you in the right direction of who to send the idea to at ISC as far as getting the Jerseys made.

The other thought I had was that it is quite possible that their maybe contractual obligations for the Western Force that may prevent a change of Jersey for a Super14 match, so why dont we see if we can do it for a "warm up" match where the possible contractual obligations are not quite as stringent.

The other issue maybe with the main sponsors we have Emirates and ET Mining but I am sure a letter in their direction would be able at least make the plan come in to fruition just that little bit easier.

Please don't think I am knocking your idea, I just want you to be aware of the possible obstacles that you may face and what is the best way to confront them. I would be more then happy to assist you in anyway I can whether for this or any other idea you may have to help raise money for Cancer Research.

I will take any suggestions on board and I thank you for yours. All I can do is ask and try my best to make something happen. If it doesn't at least I can say I tried, the hard part will be getting someone at the Force to listen to the proposal for one of next years games.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

i cant imagine what you have gone through with your son's illness. i hope that he has a speedy and complete recovery and is able to live with no re-occurences.

i think this is a really good idea, and completley worthy.
the staff at PMH are some of the best doctors and nurses around.
they made my stay there enjoyable. and i am willing to help out in any way i can to do my part to enable them to continue to do that for other sick and ill children.

    BLR,

I am not sure it was a charity one, but it sure was different.

I'll see what I can find in the TWF vault.

Should be done for a big game like the Tahs - baby blue versus the Pink -make the local derby thing more than a grudge match - also if you made it a waist coat - you wouldn't have a problem with sponsors - one size fits all - probably cheaper - and the Tah supporters could wear em as well - if they wish
