I'm going through same injury as Brown Dog...doc told me I could play contact sports (after a few weeks recovery) but it is likely to pop out again even with tape - the only way to fix it is with surgery with a 3-4 month recovery...guessing that is the "considering their options" that they are talking about

The question then is do they play him and kill his Wallaby season or rest him and he might be available for the training squad.

Personally I think the cover at backrow's adequate for him to go under the knife, It's not like he's an outside back and there's nothing in the cupboard.

Sure our backrow will be less powerful, but Wykes, Stanford and McCalman all have experience at 6 and Hodgeo would be just as devastating at 8 as he was at 6.
