I just posted this in the "New Basketball Stadium" thread becasue i wasn't sure which one to put in, so i've cut and posted it here as well

Did anyone read todays West Australian about the indoor arena where it explains that the taxpayer is at risk if the government operates the Arena on its own, i then went on to say that alledgedly one of the key things to get the WAFC on side at that meeting in December is that government has alledgedly granted the AFL a possible 6 month run at demonstrating that they can run the new outdoor stadium??? Bad news there if it's true in my opinon

Sorry just re-read the article, apparently the right to negotiate an exclusive 6 month term to demonstrate that they can run the stadium, apparently one of 14 alleged points that the government, the AFL, and the WAFC came to agreement with.

How can a multi-purpose stadium be run by one sport that uses it, and ultimatelu have its own interests as number 1???
