I don't think the U Brew It data base will fit on our 30 option Poll Frontrow

Better known as Wifebasher, Green Death and the Black Duck.

I was told that they used to put arsenic in those buggers so they could be trucked to the Pilbara & KImberley. That would explain a lot of those horrendous hangovers I had in the 70's & 80's.

Thank God I have a better choice nowdays. Cripes they have to sell blocks of that shit @ 2 for $50 just to get rid of them

One of our daughters got married to an extremely personable young Kiwi a couple of years ago. His uncle had done a bit of harvesting in the Great Southern during the '70's. He promptly put a couple of blocks of Wifebasher in the fridge on arrival for the festivities. He was surprised and a bit dismayed when most arrivals greeted the sight of them with "Jaysus! Who put that shit in the fridge" - or similar.

Those "Cow Cockies" are a tough breed though. There were none left when he went back to the farm in Waikaka.

Good one JK - Their Diamond White is a pallatable drop, but I would still prefer a slug of 7.1% Raging Bull from the Boot Leg Brewery (9) in Margerat River.

Colonial Brewery (north of Margaret River) has some good drops. They tend to make seasonal brews which are all surprisingly good. Occy's has just opened in Busselton, however their range is limited at the moment. Jeez its good living in the south-west, I just have to remember the old saying Beer, then wine you'll be fine...

Wicked Ale. I think it might be closed down now. I remember it was on the market not long ago. Did think about refinancing and putting in an offer. Discussed with significant other and reconsidered fairly quickly.
