This is going to be the tough bit for the RugbyWA staff/MES staff to sort out. I would imagine that what defines a Gold Seat at Subi would differ from what defines Gold Seat at MES.

One thing for certain that whether you get a Gold Seat at MES or Standing Room only.

its gotta be better then sitting 100 meters away at Subi.

All i can say is..from one person who works in membership to the membership staff at RugbyWA ....good luck! It'll be hard and they're bound to get abused by a few members, but they'll be satisfied when the whistle blows for the first match next year!

It is doubtless going to be tough work, but props to them for getting on to it promptly. They probably could have given folk a bit more time though, as I certainly know folk for whom this will all be news when they get home next month.

I can only go by the information I have been told - but the agreement to play at MES between MES and RugbyWA only got finalised last week - In all fairness to the Membership Department - to get the letter out as fast as they did is pretty damn impressive.

I got a letter today - hooray!!! - asking me to fill in a form by next week if I was part of a group last season that I want to retain next. Looks like they're trying to sort out groups of folk first.

    Excellent

But it's not just for groups - it's 2 or more people! So if you don't want to sit by yourself, better get form back to them. Think they need to give people a bit more time though, I received my letter last night (21st) and you only have till the 29th to send form back.

Ohh yeah........speaking for myself, I'd be satisfied if I was watching it standing in the rain, knee deep in mud.....but that's the way it goes for me. Most people will be shitty with their seats until they sit in them. If you've got a seat at MES, it'll be better than anything at Subi, simple equation, based upon the relative number of metres from the football.

I just wish I could get the seats we had for the Spirit games - 5m from the opposition bench and overlooking the TMO's shoulder. I was worried we'd thrown out of a couple of games, especially when I got a tap on the shoulder once and turned round to see Sharpie glaring at us!

I remember being at MES watching the Force play someone or other (can't remember who, but I was with Coach and Mickle and son at the time).

Anyway, Sharpie and Giteau weren't playing, but were sitting on, or rather walking around, the reserve bench and along the sideline.

Giteau stood in my line of vision and it prompted me to call out "Siddown ya mug, I didn't pay good money to see you".

To his credit he turned, and walked over to the bench and sat down.

Where else could you be that close to the reserve bench to be heard out a crowd of 15000 people?

(Yeah OK, I'm a loud mouth.)

Sounds like a good seat. Did you have to pay much?
