ummmm a couple of places in hawthorn known as the hawthorn and the glenferrie go well on tuesday nights, but its quite a young crowd.
$8 jugs is why....
otherwise your in melbourne, walk around the city and u will find plenty of lovely watering holes.... and if u dont dig one, leave and walk up the street.... there will be another one before the next street corner.
i always liked the pugg mahones in carlton rather than the city one (which has the $3 bulmers pints on monday). its a very nice pub. good mix of ages too, with plenty of uni students there because of its close proximity to melbourne uni.
