Who are you to call us pathetic? Maybe circumstances change for people, like watching our cash etc like most. We just choose not to spend it on same old same old! I was so looking forward to this season after seeing the young fellas get a dash last year exciting to watch, even if we did lose.
But aren’t some of the young guys getting a go? We have such a young squad but don’t you need some more experienced heads to guide them? We have a lot of injuries as well. I’m so glad they won just hope the injury returns next week mean we play ok in NZ.
Your absolutely right Jules we do need some old heads around. It’s a fine balancing act unfortunately. But within Australian rugby the game has moved on from the older blokes at 9/10 and we’re really blooding some great young players coming through. The way they play is exciting and worth paying the money for. Hence my next point Shasta.
Agreed, kicking is a legitimate tactic if you have players who can kick. Watch the England-France game, in particular see the difference distance and accuracy makes! But the Force returns to it without being good at it, has done for years, and it is just a recipe for continual heartbreak.
If they want to play that game, you'd at least think they'd work hard on the necessary skills. Otherwise put it away and try something else, FFS.
An entire stadium chanting FORCE ….. haven’t heard that for a while ….

"I think that we did a lot of things that we shouldn't have, and we could have applied a lot more pressure and built into that game a lot better," Cron said.
"I made it pretty clear to the backs that if we chip it again that I might make it onto the field and take them off myself, so I think the message was pretty clear." - Simon Cron. - Nice to know it's not just us bitching about the kicking.

Did you know that the Western Force has won 2 out of their first 3 matches?
By my count, Tiatia and Hegerty kicked the ball out on the full once (each) and in my recollection, there was one chip (and chase) kick inside our attacking 22. That failed.
But sure let's call it a poor (as usual kicking game)
Prior had a good game.
Did you know the Force won the match 21 -18 with only 13 players on the field for the last 8 minutes?
the Western Force of 2006. of 2010, 2013, or 2017 would never have won those 2 games we have won this year. The old Western Force never won the close games.

I am a glass-half-full kind of guy. Sorry about that.
But, the Western Force is winning, and winning the tough ones. We never used to do that.
I'm excited and I won't apologize for that.

Also, for those tearing faingaa apart for not throwing straight.
Confident he threw on and Horton threw one, so I'm not going to grab any pitchforks

Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
I am seeing some positives in this season compared to seasons past.
The dropping of the head at crucial times is non existent. For a fan this is massive.
Finally we are getting some good offloads instead to flat footed receivers.
Prior had an excellent game and got involved in defense. I don't think it's Prior or Fines but who to use where /when.
We were missing Rodda, Kaitu’u, Williams, Koteka, Wells, Pasitoa, Kiribige. Even with those stepping up doing well, imagine the depth with a fully fit squad and what our bench would be. But injuries are part of the game.
The kicking is frustrating but even more when not chased. Even if we can't reclaim the ball the pressure applied to the opposition will make a difference.
This season I'm liking what I'm seeing from new coach/es, plenty of new players. The mix with the old and new is good and will only improve. I'm hoping we have some long term contracts or the boys are liking what they see here and are happy to commit
