They will be selecting players from country origin who haven't had a chance to push for a contract or can't get in to the Country NRC sides due to not playing Premier grade in the city. They have beaten Brisbane Premier and AIL Irish senior clubs in the past. When they toured Ireland they had Tony Melrose and Chris Roche as coaches.
They will be a decent standard sounds like Twiggy is looking for more recruits.
As in another thread, this match is after a semi in the Pindan community rugby comp. So those players aligned with thewill be required for club duties, given they're playing to get into the grandy.
If the match is at NIB (I think it just says "Perth", rather than NIB in anything I've read) then it probably won't be free. Hiring costs for NIB aren't expensive, but neither are they free. Still, if it's after a semi in the Pindan, they could move both games to NIB to make an afternoon of it; that way it'd be worth opening up the refreshment franchises. No sure if the home side in that semi-final will give up home ground advantage willingly though.
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
I don't reckon there's a "home side" per se. The semis will be held at grounds where there can be multiple games played, on 2 pitches.
Last year, for example, the semis were played at Neddies, Wests, Sthn Lions and ARKS, depending upon the grades, while the grandies were played at Paly and Mandurah.
I suspect that's up to the CRAC
