Our allocated players have been brilliant so far. Contributing on field and off. Played rounds 2 & 3. I spoke to one of them at the game on Saturday who was there supporting the team. Fair enough to keep fresh and be injury free for Fiji when a win will send such a big message and help maintain the support they have built. They have put in multiple sessions at training with the juniors and promises of more. We are very grateful to have them.
One club is providing all the field training facilities for Fiji, the Force's opponents this Friday, free of charge, at short notice, and are delighted to do so for the love of the game.
Rent seeking ingrates.
Hmmm Fulvio, I seem to recollect a few conversations where comments from the club south of the river indicated few, if any would go to NIB to watch the games. Hypocrisy rules.... Andrew puts his money where his mouth is, rescues, not only a professional team, but underwrites Force HQ for all community clubs to use, for state amateur players to train, coaches to attend coaching classes and so on...Andrew also puts a few $$$ to RugbyRoos for Juniors and Schools ( I believe that will ultimately benefit community).
A few years back Stalwarts from Cottesloe Rugby Club started the Future Force programme, putting in the initial investment, managing the Australian Sports Federation application to allow donations to be tax deductable, subsidized the coaching group, found homes for the initial group of players - And...if I remember correctly two played for Pally last year. In fact Cottesloe club stalwarts underwrote the programme and SHARED - yes Fulvio shared... players from their initiative with all Community Clubs and all your club rep. could do at the AGM was to publicly try and ridicule Cottesloe when accepting your Club award.
And now.... it's all about take take take.... Be really nice to see clubs - show appreciation for Cottesloe's initiative, Andrew's initiative and at the very least show up to the game at NIB...
Jesus fucking Christ when will the penny drop and you fuckers realise it's them against us, united we stand etc
Newsflash....rugby will wither and die, yes COMMUNITY rugby, unless there is a REASON for kids to play. Get your heads out of your asses, it's no longer just love for the game (any game) like when we were kids, times have moved on, society has changed.
FFS stop devouring yourselves with your petty squabbles and juvenile jealousies
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
How did we get from "why didn't the Force players play last weekend" to Hansie's rant, and the rest of the axe to grind regulars piling in?
Defending what?
The "I don't know what I'm talking about, but someone might think I'm clever" attack.
Mindless moderator arsehattery, Gerry.
At the risk of being called an "axe to grind regular" I humbly redirect you all to Bison's post.

Banter good, ridicule bad. Rugby great.
Ahhh, classic trolling attempt. Drop a bit of bait then act affronted when called out. How boring. How tacky.
How predictable.
Take a bex, Hans.
