On the topic of the Reds I see that Moore is not going to play on next year despite having two years left on his deal. Very late to be looking for a replacement and TPN has already gone to Leicester.

SCOBLE!!! and he's a red
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
Even two months ago as they reckon the Leicester contract was a done deal six weeks ago as it was certain when it was announced that it was signed off four weeks before the announcement. I wouldn't blame TPN for turning the Reds down as they are a basket case and to have four Super Rugby teams on your resume is not a great career outcome for a player who has played around 70 tests.

You would think that Tessmann or Scoble will be looked at. I saw something last week that Ready might be off to the Brumbies in 2019 following the great tradition of Qld hookers getting out of dodge. It might make sense as Mann Rea and Abel though contracted are solid but wooden in regards to age. The next prospect is Lachlan Lonergan who is still at school and will probably be on a conditioning program in the Academy as young hookers do sustain injuries when they start filling out. He has potential to be the next under 20s hooker as he was one of two ACT Schools players to make the Aus Schoolboys team.

TPN started off at the Brumbies as a loose head prop in the HPU/Academy. The Sydney press of course wouldn't mention that was where the Waratahs signed him from as it would further highlight their bad talent identification and not recruiting from public schools.
Most players who have racked up multiple clubs in Australia are players with bad attitudes (O'Connor, Valentine), grafters (see Fava, Mitch Chapman) and journeymen. Wallabies with 70 caps don't fit in to either of those categories.

Taf said he would go overseas if the Force were cut.
He's always come across as a man of his word.
He's always been a staunch supporter of community, team and rugby values.
What's to say he would have picked any other team if they had asked?
Perhaps the recruiters haven't called because they know Taf and he said he was leaving.
C'mon the
