Apparently there's a rugby game On this weekend and, since I can't be assed cancelling fox sportsmail_rugby&utm_medium, I discovered this little gem
https://www.foxsports.com.au/rugby/fox-sports-lab-statistics-show-that-the-wallabies-are-on-the-rise/news-story/558b70c6560c6197ab1b73fd574c1cfd?utm_source=sports mail_rugby&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=crm
This little treatise is apparently an empirical study by fox sports lab (read that to mean their new national (at least the part of the nation East of Canberra uni) coaching supremo) into the unquestioned massive improvement of the wallabies this year.
It includes such solid research as
They are currently on an "unprecedented" 4 game unbeaten run. They scored 45-0 against the All Blacks in just over a half of rugby and some other selected stat's to hide the disaster.
It might make me watch the match just so I can laugh at Cheika and Hooper in the post match comments trying to find positive spin after they're assaulted once again by a team that actually knows how to play rugby.
Thunderstorms are forcast this weekend, but I'll be gliding ar Narrogin rather than watching tv
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
I don't know what I will be doing during the match because I haven't bothered to find ut when, but if I'm not doing anything I might watch.
Might even support the blacks

We'll be celebrating another fantastic game on the hill when the test match kicks off.
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
Test Rugby? Who cares.
I'd rather be down on the hill with family and friends enjoying post game kicking with the kids and the perth rugby community.

Apparently I'm playing!
I hate the aru's team. I'll smashem.
I am really a Palmyra troll.
Bring on the hill
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
If you were looking for another reason to support the ABs this weekend the following extract from a Foxsports on-line article might help you make up your mind.
"A win for the Wallabies could very well represent the start of a new era.
Already Australia is returning to four Super Rugby franchises.
Regardless of whether the right or wrong team was punted, it has been proven that Australian rugby can, at most, only support four competitive teams.
That can only benefit the Wallabies"
God only knows what "proof" is being referred to, I haven't seen it!
Just another case of the victors (or in this case the survivors) getting to write the history.
What a load of rot! As if a couple of weeks would make a difference! Who the f@rk writes this sh1t and who are the f@rk wits that believe it?
May the FORCE be with you!
Somebody who doesn't know anything about rugby. The players contracts don't end until December 31, so all a win will prove (if anything) is that we can beat the Kiwis with players from 5 teams. Unfortunately for the #strongerasfive argument, they're going to lose, badly, it will be bloody. Then the inquiry will deliver its report and it will get bloodier

Yep it's a load of crap. Simple maths says less Australian rugby teams can only reduce the player pool available for potential Wallabies selection, it certainly won't increase it, so it's most likely impact on Wallaby selection options is to make it worse. Let alone the impact on development pathways.
The author is re-writing history to suit their own biased agenda. Plus their claim that four teams has been "proven" to be better for Australian rugby is also crap - it is nothing more than regurgitating the ERU's spin.

The reason they have reduce to 4 teams is so there is less competition for Wallaby spots.. This means More Warraths can be put in without the ARU feeling guilty of leaving out better players
