I haven't seen anything new on on this.
Will the ARU continue to screw us over and allow the Western Force IP to sit on a shelf unused and unusable, or will RugbyWA be allowed to purchase it back as promised.
What of other intellectual property such as it's twitter/social media accounts, and possibly of greater importance - it's followers?
Then there would the the 10's of thousands of email addresses and contact details from members past and present. Does the western force (or whatever the new incarnation of them will be) still have the right to use these; and does the ARU have the moral right to do so?
I'm thinking of contacting ARU to find out just what personal information of mine they have and what I can do to remove it from them. I believe they are required to respond to such requests for information, although I am unsure of whether there is any obligation that they remove it if requested...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
I agree Darren. Apart from spite I can see no other reason why the ARU would not hand back the IP to RugbyWA.
Hansie has there been a request to get this back as it is part of our identity.
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
they should give it back seeing as now as it stands it's currently worthless
Buy it back for $1? I mean, it's over the odds, seeing as the entire Rebels organisation, IP and all, cost that.
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Well Forrest has asked for the name to be given back - apart from being complete AHoles (which we know already) what other reason could they have to deny the request?
Sorry so there was nothing about the Force IP in the release today?
