Sorry guys....I'm out.
Only attended 1 game in the last 2 seasons and the emotional & financial toll or not only supporting thefor 10 years but also JediJnr's complex medical situation means that after 10 years I can no longer justify the $$$.
If anyone wants to sit with The InnFORCEr, Happy etc then there are 2 seats going back into general release so please contact TIF by the usual methods.
Sorry to hear that Jedi. I hope jnr is ok and will jeep carrying the FORCE. May the FORCE be with you and jnr.
Recently renewed my membership over phone using MasterCard. It has come up on my MasterCard account as 'ARU Club Membership Sydney AUS'. I'm sure previously it came up as RUGBYWA. Maybe a new accounting procedure.
I'm much happier coming up with a conspiracy theory that the Tahs are stealing our money.
(We must have the most comprehensive list of emotion icons in existence but none of them are of a tin foil hat!)
I love a conspiracy theory. I heard that we have been taken over by the ARU to become a feeder team for tha Tahs.![]()

As the old saying goes, just because you're paranoid....
sigh
renewed my membershit....yet again
must be a sucker for punishment
BTW if this season is successful, I will gladly change my avi while drinking a pint of magniers at![]()
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
OK, just renewed for my 3rd year and made use of the new Bronze edition with 3 x junior members (ie my three sons) included at no additional charge! So....for around $260 for 4 seats and these are in a reasonable spot near the try line east side. I'm saving around $400 on a fox sign-up and teaching my boys the love, pain and enjoyment of supporting your local team LIVE.
Now all we need is something to cheer about this season, but I will leave that for another post and not smash my current optimism glow![]()

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Well, I've finally admitted to myself that I can't afford live rugby.
After about three years pushing shit uphill, the bills have just got too much.
I'll get back in once my finances improve.

For those of you that don't know - I have been unemployed for over 2 years straight now, and have been in and out of Full time employment since March 2010.
Financially I have been living on $530 per fortnight, where I manage to pay all my bills, fuel my car and my pay my phone, NBN internet including my Foxtel so I can get my weekly Rugby Fix. With the occasional withdrawal from my Super I have managed to pay my mortgage and hang on to my home.
Admittedly I am living alone, and the money I spend on Foxtel is nothing compared to taking a family to Force matches every week.
But where there is a will there is always a way. Perhaps for some - its not the finances that are struggling. But the support for the Team isn't what it used to be. Thats ok - watching the team lose more than it wins is tough for everyone.
I got accepted in to a casual role this week - coverage for people who are on leave etc. Its a start.........

Good news, Ex. Hope it leads to more
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Neither, if the truth be told, can we.
These are tough times, especially with metal prices being what they are and mega-layoffs in a number of industries, so a thousand bucks is a thousand bucks, not to be spent lightly these days, and, you would think, not to be spent with an outfit who proclaim loudly that they have frozen their prices for 2016 but in the fine print announce that the number of games for that price has been reduced from 8 to 7.
But like Charlie Brown, Lucy and the football, we'll probably weaken at the last moment, think that this time RWA is telling the truth about how much they value their members and about how 2016 will be a better year for the Force, and renew our memberships (even though the price for 2016 has in effect gone up 14%).
We will miss those passionate Force supporters who cannot, for various reasons, continue their memberships in 2016.
Ticket prices are quite reasonable in the shed area about $190 and free for kids I think. We paid $140 for our concession prices
We are moving to the country so have had to give up the full season memberships after 10 years.
Thinking "Supporter member" was the only option we rang Memberships to discuss; will now be supporting from afar having bought 2 x Tri Force memberships - includes tickets to 3 games of our choice, plus Members Bar access and the accessories pack, and the two kids get in for free.
