Fiji kept shooting themselves in the foot with poor handling but they were still more impressive then England who managed to plod their way to a win. I'm sure they will improve heaps as the pool progresses but based on Friday night there was nothing Australia or Wales should fear. Sam Burgess was alright with a couple of offloads and some good runs in broken play.
Typical pommy bogans. Disgraceful.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
Too many wowsers when it comes to hakas. It's a psychological weapon that gives them an advantage. It may have its roots in tribal culture but nowadays it's more a warm up for their adrenal glands. There should be a right of reply.
If the crowd had booed the Fijians I would agree with the disrespectful camp, but not singing. It's a rugby game for goodness sake.
How much of the outrage is simply because it was an English crowd? Bet if it was any other nation fewer people would be complaining.
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
I'm pretty sure my ex neighbour (Samoan / Kiwi heritage) told me that all forms of Haka / war dance should traditionally only be performed on home soil? Maybe someone else could clarify?
Do Wallabies fans always maintain silence during the Haka? Haters gonna hate!
Great game, Fucken battled right through to the 80!
Have to admit, I don't mind crowd responses to war-dances, it's a traditional part of the game. Wales sing "Bread of Heaven," Ireland sing "Fields of Athenry," South Africa does the RWC 1995 "Olé Olé Olé" chant, we sing "Waltzing Matilda;" it's all part of what makes rugby culture the best in world sport.
The only thing I can't stomach is jeering of national anthems.
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
All Blacks every time.
Though to be fair to the poms most of them are okay, its just that small minority of smug, condescending, morally superior assholes that make me question why we didn't cosy up to Germany in the wars and drop bombs on them instead. Only thing is I think some Poms like them about as much as I do.
The Kiwis success has gone to their heads a bit, and some of them can do anything better than an Aussie. But I have never got the feeling that they think they have a God given right to look down on us like I have with some Poms.
Only a couple, who quite clearly hated it here. They did do the sensible thing and made use of one of our freedoms - your free to leave if you don't like it here. Probably over reacting/tarring everyone else with the same brush, but they sure made an impression.
