he may have landed one himself
I thought I read somewhere that he had thrown a retaliatory bunch at Beale, as well tweeting about the incident, naming Beale as the perpetrator and calling him a grub! Guess only he and the team know the real truth though.
A one match ban, a session in the confessional booth on Sunday and he'll be right to go!
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
"Although I haven't deserved the opportunity to make amends for our unacceptable performance last week, be assured if selected I will do everything possible to deliver a winning result in Perth next week."
Can anyone else hear Suzie's phone ringing?
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Vuna apparently he had a self enforced ban on drinking which he broke that night.
I just received an email from the Rebels, Beale has been stood down.
As a valued Member of our Club, we would like to update you with the following announcement:
Following a series of meetings with officials from the Melbourne Rebels, the Australian Rugby Union, the Rugby Union Players Association and Kurtley Beale's management, Kurtley has agreed to indefinitely stand down from playing, seeking external counselling assistance effective immediately.
*
Rebels Chief Executive Officer, Steven Boland, spoke shortly after.
*
"We have been working in conjunction with the ARU and RUPA over the past 48 hours to arrive at this position," said Boland
*
"We sincerely hope that Kurtley will now embrace the assistance required to beat the issues that have been plaguing his life over the last period of time.
*
"We will fully support Kurtley through this process and hope that there is a time not far down the track when he can rejoin his teammates at the Rebels.
*
"I would like to express my great personal gratitude to all Members of our Club, and to our magnificent stakeholder base that have been so supportive throughout this week.
*
"We all hope that our players can repay that support on Saturday evening against a very in form Cheetahs team."
*
The Rebels will face the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein this Sunday morning at 2.05am AEST.
This will be broken to the media shortly.

Only stood down?
Not a surprise given he plays for the golden child of the ARU
Indefinitely? like....ummm...maybe 8 days?
In other words nothing happened today nor will in the future.
Get him over to the mungoes.
Well the ARU hasn't grown a pair then. Double standards make me sick!
May the FORCE be with you!
