He was solid when they tried him there last year but did struggle a bit against the more sophisticated attacking sides. If 13 is where he offers the most for the team then so be it but we need to find his spot and let him get on with developing in it. I'm not a fan of constantly shuffling players around.
Tbh, if we lose to the Bulls but can regroup with SNK in the mix in time to beat the Reds at Suncorp, that'll do me!![]()

I'm not saying 13 is his best spot, nor am I saying he is best served by playing 13, I'm saying the whole team is improved by him at 13 because the options on his wing are better than the bloke he replaces at 13.
That being said, CTM or Hayward might be credible options at 13, if so, they need to be there ASAP, because our midfield is poor. Kyle is not astounding yet, but has done enough (as a rookie) to keep his spot....Stanley hasn't changed much from last year IMHO and might be best served with some Ebersohn treatment.
The Bulls backline for mine
9 Alby
10 Sias
11 Tupou
12 Kyle
13 Honeybadger
14 Junior
15 Alfie
This will give Alfie more room/license to inject himself into the game, it will also signal a clear intent not to play territory after the first pass. Everybody will know what's going on. If Sias passes it, we run like hell, if he doesn't we're chasing.
Sometimes simple plans are the best!

I like it GIGS, then bring SNK in at 15 the week after and decide who is going to miss a wing spot.

It was hard not to suggest parachuting SNK INTO 15 this week, it would solve both our midfield and our kicking.

Id like to see the HB, Alfie & Jnr as our back 3 - pretty handy B3. The Wallaby, Hot form jetshoes & The upNcomer.
and possibly Tupou moving back to 13 and pairing with young Associates boy KG in the centres.

NK injured his ankle at training yesterday according to todays paper!
I don't think we gonna see a lot of Sias this year apparently not physical enough and to lateral however I thought they got him because he can at least kick
I will die a slow painfull death if Godwin gets to kick again Even Hodgo's torpedo style touch kick was better than any of the official ickers
The No 10 curse is still with us![]()

And I seriously understand why TFG, however the one place in the world where kicking is paramount is Pretoria, and it might be the trade off we had to have.
Plus, he'll never get any better without a shot. I understand that Foley wasn't around when he was contracted, but it can't get a whole lot worse than last week, so maybe some public beheadings are in order, just to get the message across to the players that performance wins you a spot.
I would write this game off to clarify that message to the playing group.

Actually i thought that kick was a ripper. Marched the kings from our inside our 22 all the way back to the half way line. Possibly the kick of the match (from the Force anyway).
on a completely unrelated matter, why does Foley wait so long to announce the teams? normally we see them by Wed/Thurs, but i think the last few have only been announced just after the captains run, the day before the match.
They only have to announce it 24 hours before KO I think. Looks like he's playing the game to the limit. Don't know why though, everyone knows pretty much how everyone else plays these days.
