Wayne Smith's articles are pretty good. He understands that if anyone is going to kick and scream about Giteau, they needs a solution first. Dropping anyone who doesn't play up to post-determined standards, let alone with no alternative meeting these standards is plain stupid.
I wouldn't mind seeing Giteau dropped for a test to see how we go, we need to try other guys there at some point just in case he gets an injury and we need someone else to step into Cooper's backline. But not until after the last NZ test, as we need our best team out for that game! A win in Hong Kong will be great for the teams confidence and a huge breakthrough.
The McCaw try sucked, it was a good idea from NZ but they mis-timed it. At least the refs and the rest of the world got their wake up call in a tri nations game rather than a more important test. At the end of the day we let in other weak tries so there is no one else to blame.
