One of the unfortunate realities of professional sport is that as one door opens inevitably another door closes and so it is for Tim Davidson who is set to return to Sydney.
I must admit that I was one who had very high hopes for Tim pre season for the Force however, in a fairly strong section of our squad, 2006 has failed to live up to, I'm sure, his own high standard.
With one start and five bench selections Tim had a valued place in our inaugural Squad and on behalf of all TWFers I wish him well for his future.

Sydney University will find out today if the Western Force will grant Tim Davidson a release in time for tomorrow's opening Tooheys New Cup clash with Eastwood.
The return bout at TG Millner Field after last weekend's tense 17-10 Shute Shield victory to the Woods will be lifted another notch if Davidson plays at No.7, as the University team list suggests, with the backrower a standout No.8 last year who won the Herald's club player of the year award.
That strong form last season as the Students' title-winning captain was instrumental in his move to the Western Force this year, but Davidson is known to have declined to return to their squad next year and a place on the South African tour this month.
The 23-year-old had been named vice-captain of the post-Super 14 squad which is to play Currie Cup sides in South Africa before returning for three friendly matches in Perth, but will instead move back to Sydney in the hope of furthering his career.....
