To be honest, would we really want O'Young back given that he followed a selfish path to Glasgow rather than serving his apprenticeship at the Force?

I'm with Bread - I can't believe he would be returning long term unless he thought he would be starting HB. Perhaps he will just be on loan?

I don't reckon he can be blamed for heading to Glasgow, cause even when Henjak played terribly in year 1 Mitchell kept on picking him. And no lets not get Valentine he would be even more trouble than Henjak (maybe).

That was on Ch10 news tonight that O'Young could fly Wed and play Friday - still reckon Chuckie would be the starting No 9 if Henners can't play - Sharpie gave him a bit of a wrap there on the Ch 10 news saying he fitted in well with the team etc.. - and Chuckie siad that Henners had given him quite a few tips i.e. really helpful (which doesn't surprise me )

    guessing the pecking order is
    1: Jak
2: Chuckie aka Stannard MOM IMHO against the Reds preseason game
3: Chris O'Young (no mention that the ARU have cleared him or that Glasgow have released him !)

Ten news said they were awaiting a clearance for him to play Friday.....wonder if the clearance will be rushed through?

I would suggest we'd be crazy to take him from Glasgow on Wednesday and start him. He'll ride the pines with Chucky taking the reins IMHO....I can't see Henners getting back to SA in any better condition to play on Friday than Chrisso.......My young feller will be happy, Chrisso was one of his fave players in Ocean Blue!

I've been to Glasgow, you can see why there is tension between Glasgow and Edinburgh as Edinburgh is a thousand times nicer. I couldn't live in Scotland myself (sorry EmForcer) it rains too much.

Bread- I think we can assume that whatever the outcome of the inquest Henners will be suspended for a few games. Chris O'Young will get plenty of game time if he comes back.

JK- Thats a bit harsh don't you think?

The word in Glasgow was that he was injured the previous week in a Glagsow Backup game - a dead leg I believe which seemingly prevented him from being on the bench for our game on Friday against the Scarlets.

I dont think it was selfish him going to glasgow. I second littlelcks comment. Mitchell kept picking henjak over chris which was riduculous as much as i think he is a good coach he needs to stop his stubborness when it comes to people playing badly eg yak and drew why the hell wouldnt you of changed it in season 1 and 2

No more selfish than Yak mucking up all over town and the world for that matter and still getting first call up. Imagine if Barwick put you in the bottleshop week in week out.

I thought he was side lined in Glasgow because they are only allowed to field two internations in each team and he is the third?

I'll have him back anyday regardless of what happens with Yak. With Clarke out we have a fair reason to ask to have him.

I think if they can get Chrisso he will be better than any of the other options available but i do think his defensive game is lacking - it was very evident against the Saders last year.
im hoping he has been working on that & has bulked up a bit since then.
