Powell to lead the charge against the Force

A mixed Saracens first team / Academy side will face Western Force at Old Albanians tonight (Tuesday), kick off 6.30pm, with both sides including a number of first team players in their line-ups.

Saracens have named their side for the clash and included Tom Mercey, Cobus Visagie, Don Barrell, Andy Saull, Edd Thrower and Dan Scarbrough in the starting team with Adam Powell taking on the captain’s armband.

Tonight is also a chance for Saracens fans to see some of the next generation in action with Jake Sharp directing the game at fly half, 6ft 7in Harry Spencer at second row, Mike Stanley at inside centre and Mickey Wilson controlling things at scrum half.

The Western Force have also mixed up their starting line-up to include a number of first team regulars and Academy youngsters.
