Stormers prop Wicus Blaauw likes to keep a low profile, but on Sunday he was forced to use his considerable strength on a flight between Sydney and Perth.
A fellow passenger sitting next to the loosehead prop was getting drunk and disorderly, and began cursing Blaauw and some other players - a big mistake!
The flight crew requested the players to help with the situation.
Blaauw needed no second invitation.
He proceeded to slap the drunk passenger across the face, putting him in his place.
There was no trouble from him after he was put in his place, and the crew were extremely grateful for the players help in defusing the situation.
Perth police dealt with the rowdy passenger and thanks the Stormers for their assistance.

Sounds like a typical Stormers reaction to adversity. Hit the bugger.......Not saying he didn't deserve it, but you don't often hear it reported in a positive light these days!

One of The InnFORCEers was on that flight and told them if they can't beat the Blues don't bother coming to Perth. He didn't say he got slapped though, I'll check out my "Unnnamed Sauce" soon.
80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
About time...these clown are going around causing trouble.
It needs a Rugby player (South African or otherwise) to show them the light.
Rugby is not only a great sport, but it give the people involved a certain morale standard.
This is typically of those standard being enforced in the "true spirit"!
I applaud Blaauw for his actions.
Brother Gallagher I hear you
