Wink TriNations ... include Los Pumas you morons

No offense to TriNations supporters, but anyone else getting slightly bored by the extended competition and the resulting lack of Rugby tours

I would rather Argentina was injected into the competition with a return to home and away matches, not the three repeats we currently have.

100% - there's nothing more ridiculous than playing each team 3 times a year....where's the equality in that.....bring back home & away and expand it to 4 teams.

I agree 100%, would also help to grow the game over there. Their the only top 10 team in the world not to be included in regular competition

Yep, i agree... they are a good team who would benefit immensely from being involved in an expanded trinations

Maybe that's the worry Skiz, the Boards of the Six and Tri Nations don't want them improving any more than they have!?
Just working through the maths (and it is bound to change again through the tournament) but I am pretty sure this results sees Argentina rise to 4th and France drop two to 5th.
This means that the top four SH nations are currently sitting 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th!

Also gives a great argument for the ARU to be in the first instance hosting los Pumas pre Tri Nations, because you can be sure they would be after maximum player exposure compared to the limp wristed touring teams we have been getting from Europe!

100% correct, however most of the top Argies are playing in France so get some expierance. Actually surprised none of the S14 sides have been picking up the odd forward from South America.

Other advantage that comes to mind is a third Bledisloe match. If it's one a piece through TriNations then roster on a third game. Would sell out and be an instant cash cow for the NZRU and ARU, without the Saffas getting a slice Would also be able to negotiate separate advertising for the match, as it doesn't fall under the SANZA banner.

Contracts have been signed for Super 14 to run for 5 years. Another 5 is the possibility of extension.

How would you work in the Argentinian teams to Super 14?

What is it worth to Australian, Kiwi and Saffa interests to see Argentina become established in our current competition (Our teams are where they are because of what has happened. Imagine if bringing in the Arggies, means we drop places on the world rankings etc).

What size population does Argnetina have that watch cable or pay tv (is it worth it for Fox Sports?)

These are some of the issues facing the inclusion of another nation into our current comp structure.
