All the 'Naki in the first half as they opened a 24-0 lead. HoriBOP came back in the second but finally crumbled under the pressure of playing catch up Rugby.

One of the worse seasons on record for BOP.

Will see what I can do EnForcer. In brief the ANZC and the Heartland comp replaced the old NPC format last year. The 14 teams qualifying for the ANZC don't have to worrry about promotion/relegation but need to maintain facilities and crowds up to an International level. Currently one Team Manawatu are in danger of being demoted from the ANZC.

Later on will dig out some more details and team profiles etc. For now all you need to know is "C'mon the Bay !!!!!" We're having a good season by our standards with a 4-3 result so far. Looking good for the playoffs, which would be an excellent result since we're one of the new boys in the top level. Three games left; The Taniwha (winnable), Waikato (who knows), Manawatu (annihilation time). So 6-4 would put us somewhere in the top eight.
