Where's all the money coming from for the French, English & Irish clubs to offer such attractive packages? Why can't Scottish clubs do the same without going broke?

A lot of players are heading to Europe or Japan at the tail end of their careers to take up some lucrative contracts. A number of current AB players have already re-signed with the NZRU, and the usual up and comers will provide the depth for the International Squads.
