Cliché Time

Temps de craquement. Knirschenzeit. Tempo di scricchiolio. Crunch time. Yes it’s that point in the ARC where every match is becoming a cliché lovers’ delight- it’s do or die, must win, and all teams have to bring their A-game. The ARC is such a short competition, only ten weeks long including the finals, so dropping games is not an option. The pressure is more squarely placed on home teams, who are expected to win on familiar grounds, with the faithful crowds cheering them on. In round four of the ARC we’ll see Melbourne taking on Sydney, Western Sydney playing Ballymore, Central Coast versus Perth, and East Coast versus Canberra.
