The game of Union does not need this American style crap in it.
Play and watch the game simple as that.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

The actual game is only a part (albeit a big part) of the entire "Rugby Experience" other parts include, pre and post match drinks, the adventure of getting to the game, pre game and half time entertainment (read cheerleaders) etc etc

But of course we absolutly respect your humble opinion

Although there are cheerleaders all across this great globe of ours, I'll agree with you prop53 that like everything else the cheerleaders are the best in America.

I agree with TIF about the Rugby experience being more than just the game itself but the idea of cheerleaders as being entertainment in this day and age is abit outdated. Many women and familes go to the rugby and while I would like to see more entertainment at games I don't think cheerleaders are the way to go.While I might fantasize about a male cheerleading group (Cam Shepherd, Drew Mitchell, Lachy Mackay and Richard Brown will do plus a guest appearance by Taine Randell (I had the hots for him for years!!) But a well muscled thigh and the occasional flash of a bum will do me!

You girls get all of that during the game. The match and a perve. At the moment us blokes only have the game. If we're lucky a hotty may do a beer run past us.
It cannot be an equal world until we get cheerleaders.

They were too far away from our seats (a bit like the rugby action!).

Maybe a new era of cheerleaders could be started in Perth.....personal cheerleaders for each section and maybe they'll do the beer run when the game's on!

The Brazilian girls were a great start and I applaud Rugby WA for instigating it. If we support it then we may make the next step to CHEERLEADERS!

When I get my box it will definately have nubile girlies serving the beer and providing entertainment Jedi.

The brazillians were right in front of me. I did my best to look in the other direction... disgusted.

    The music was catchy though!
