You can't pick your own country, so who would you rather see the World Cup go to this year and why ?

I'd like to see Ireland win this time round, it would annoy the $hitter out of the english and we'd have celebratory guinness pints at all time low prices at for a year!

France are probably a reasonable dark horse at home as well.

Oddly enough I like to see Oz win - and not for the cheap Toothys - even though I'm developing a taste for it - just because Oz rugby is going through a hard time at the moment and could do with a boost - that said silencing the Kiwis for 10 mins is always a good option

Not allowed to pick Ireland according to first post - but Oz is definitely the second choice - love the idea of Namibia upsetting everyone as well as I suspect that they are the last amateur team in the comp - but that is just fantasy stuff

France for mine, because we would be guaranteed several awesome games. When the Frogges actually turn up to play they are probably the most entertaining team. Anyone remember the Frogge v ABs game back in RWC 99?

I've gone for Argentina as the highest of the "minnows" with any form of a chance.
A win for them would stir up World Rugby in the non English (I think they call it Latin?) countries.
Of the realistic chances I am split between NZ (as it will make taking it out in '11 even sweeter) and France to shove it up the Poms and Kiwi's
