    crowd numbers

20,018 pretty piss weak turn out, and out of that there would of been at least 500 free tickets given out to boost crowd numbers, any thoughts on why the numbers were so low?

    20K. That's about right for a Tah's match.

The crowd numbers could have been low for a number of reasons:
    1. It wasn't a Big Game.
    2. There's not a million Fijians in Perth.
    3. The population have not been starved of rugby this year.
    4. The population are sick of trying to watch rugby at Subi.

There, I've fixed it for you.

I wouldn't have paid more than about $25 for last night's game. Luckily, that was what I paid. Plus rugby's a great distraction from studying.

Spot on Jazza! I thought my Dad was going to choke from laughing so much at how small the crowd was. The ticket prices were a disgrace, considering the dimensions of subi and the fact that their opposition, though admirable, is not going to draw a large crowd in Perth like a NZ, SA, England etc. team would.

It was good watching it at home!

would have filled the ground better giving cheaper ticket prices and of course if it was a better rugby ground also. Would have been better off at Equity

I was amazed when I flipped the tele on to see such a small crowd being Fiji I didnt expect a full Subi but I thought there would be closer to 30 000... makes me think if the Wallabies play one Pacific Islands nation each season maybe its a game they could play at Canberra Stadium. Several reasons, there hasn't been a Wallabies Test there since 2000 against Argentina, of course the smaller stadium would be easier to fill and Canberra has a large Islander population so I think it be an attractive proposition for Canberra.

thats a good idea. then they can take a test away from qld,nsw or victoria and bring it to perth so we could get a decent match.

I doubt any other city in the country would have got much more then the crowd last night.

Including Canberra, especially with the ticket price they charged.

    I didn't pay for mine.

But we ended up moving (along with pretty much every other person) to better seats.

I thought it was a joke that there was so little people.

The only reason we came up with at work today was that it was because it was against a weaker side.

and to think $12.50 of that ticket price goes straight to the WAFC plus profit on what ever you ate and drank
