Wallabies Training @ Perry Lakes: We stood in the cold.....

We went, we stood and we froze .. well it was a bit chilly but was good fun. As luck would have it we got every players signature except for Gregan who was late for the bus and didn't have a good enough excuse, Connolly who decided he couldn't put up with the "suggestions" for where to play our own Giteau, and Bernie who must have been back at the hotel rugged up with a glass of vino.

So I have just been informed by TG (and checked on the ARU web site) that the guys will be doing a public signing sessions tomorrow (Wednesday) in the city at Forest Chase from 12pm!!

This will be your last "official" chance to get anything signed, unless you start hunting them down during the rest of the week

EDIT: And a big crongrats to Neo_Girl who won one of the best in gold comps and went up for the line out! You missed the first ball (which from all reports wasn't thrown straight anyway) but came up trumps with the second pass. Well done!!!

Was there as well, it was freezing! Got a great photo with Shep and Sharpie signed a photo, added Drew Mitchell and Digby's signature to my Wallaby shirt. Heard that Larkham will be delayed arriving in Perth as his wife has had an operation. It was pretty clear who is going to be in the team for Saturday from the plays on the field. Does anyone know if Huxley is injured? He didn't take part in the drills.

Really good fun to catch up with Burgs, Innforcer and Happy - the girls and I had an absolute ball - there was face painting and posters for the kids.

The Wallabies looked impressed with the crowd from Perth and cheerfully signed everything - most of them were pretty chatty too but as it was cold they were moving down the line quite fast. You forget how hugh these people are.

Could easily have been a couple of thousand there - the stand was packed while the lads were training - they seemed to be do a lot of breakdown stuff - couple of lineout moves and a quick game at the end (looked like A's Vs B's).

yeah it would have been the new Cantebury store they've opened up in the city. Closed the old one down and moved to a much better location.
