Looks like it may have worked. They played much better in the second half. Did the boos wake them up?

yeah it happens sometimes .. one would imagine it was more of a boo towards the rubbish pile that is the ARU right now rather than the players themselves!

A true rugby fan would never boo their own team, even if you felt like it!

Jess - I gotta agree the booing was disgusting and inappropriate.

As a mutually exclusive concept however - so was the play in the first half. This was NOT an excuse for the boos though.

    most ungentlemanly, of uncivilised, behaviour.
But we are talking about a game played in front of a Queensland crowd.
Gentlemen/women, polite, civilised - not in Queensland I'm afraid.

Yeah I don't get it... It was the first real thing the rugby followers in Queensland had to cheer about this year and they booed!

    Force of habit I guess.

They played lousy in the first half, not only should they get booed but they all needed a good, hard shove in the back as well. Bloody Wobblies.

When the QRU themselves ran a "Boo Wendell" campaign, they sent a big message out that booing was OK - it's only gonna get worse....

Not enough Tah's in the squad for that to work Chook.I think you would need to wear poofta blue for that to lift the team

I can understand why they were booing, I just don't agree with it. If you don't like what was happening then don't make any noise at all. A silent stadium would have more effect and the players wouldn't feel it was an assult on them.
