    2007 PG Hampshire Winner

Righto local supporters, time to get the thinking caps on again!
We are going to run a vBook on the 2007 PG Hampshire Award for Best & Fairest Player in the Home Building Society WA Premier Rugby Competition.
What we need is for those in the know to put forward who from their Club is a shot of taking out, if not the big one, at least their Fairest and Best.
Ideally we are looking for two or three from each Club.

As a starting point we obviously have the current holder, and subject of prucs adoration, James Stannard from Palmyra.

I'm assuming that the second and third place getters are still playing Premier in WA as well?
    Aaron Broughton, Wests-Subiaco
    Geoff Minson, Rockingham

So there is a start, let's hear some names folks!
Would be great to have it up before Round 3, enough time to see the new fellas and see how last years guns are backing up.

Thanks pruc. To save us hunting around when we build the Book would be helpful if everyone can post them as:

    FirstName Surname, Club

Will make Gerry and my job far easier for little effort on the nominees part

Trouble is, with too many "guns" it spreads the voting out pretty thin for the leader!

Feel free to influence the odds by reporting on how certain players have gone over the weekend

Should we now nominate West's entire first grade then? They collectively did better than Jame's selected 10 this weekend.

We could probably give odds on a team basis and then also addd bigger odds for individual players as they come to light???

hmm funny that west's only scored 1 try .... we managed to be penalised out of the game. 3 tries to one and we still lost. Awell everyone had a ruff first game ! although the team that played to the referees standards won the game

I reckon last years Perth Gold Player of the year award winner, Will Brock from Nedlands would have to be in contention.. You left him out of your list JamesBrown.

I don't think James particularly likes Will Brock...why is that James, he seems an entirely personable young man to me.
