Former Football Federation Australia chief executive John O'Neill has been appointed a director of Tabcorp, subject to regulatory approval.
O'Neill, 55, a solicitor by profession, has worked in the sporting and corporate sectors for 20 years with his previous roles also including his reign as managing director and chief executive of the Australian Rugby Union.
"Tabcorp will benefit greatly from the experience and calibre of John O'Neill who is one of Australia's leading sporting administrators and businessmen," said Tabcorp chairman Michael Robinson.
O'Neill is expected to join the Tabcorp board later this year when the necessary regulatory approvals have been obtained.
