    Wow FA that hurt!

As the late great coach of the Green Bay Packers Vince Lombardi said:

"If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?"

"If you can accept losing, you can't win."

"Show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser."

If there is only one that you remember make it this one:

"The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor."

I dissagree with ForceAddict, I actually think that the US is terrible at sports that other people play.

American teams generally win the World Series of everything!

Of course the American perception of the World has been described as narrow by some uncharitable individuals.

Most impressive post by you - then Ngwenya's steps and speed - but this chap from Zambia has inspired legions of College rugby players.

Gigs Gigs Gigs, you're ! No wonder the youth of your country is so misguided! The name of MLB's Championship is really not that big of a deal.

Lets look at Olympic medal count from 1896 to 2006. Would you agree that the Olympics are a World event? One World, One Dream! Don't forget in the Gold Medals that this does include the USA's 2 for Rugby, more than any other country.

I refuse to recognise the Olympics as a legitimate sporting event while they have ribbon twirling and not Rugby...
