    Gosh, thanks...

Just wanted to say thanks to all who welcomed me. It's good to find a place like this on the Net. Just to let you wanna-be weathermen (people?) know...the average summer temperature around here is 43-46 degrees Celsius (110-115 degrees Farenheit) and the hottest that I've ever seen it around here was about 10 years ago when it hit 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Farenheit). It was so hot that day that the international airport in Phoenix had to close for about 4 hours because they weren't sure the planes would have enough runway to reach take-off speed.

It's been a warm end of winter/beginning of spring period around here. It's going to be stuck around 30-32 degrees Celsius for the next week and a half. I myself prefer cooler temperatures but didn't have a choice when my parents moved here 30 years ago. I hang around because my friends and family are here so I don't complain too much.

Thanks for the willingness to answer the "dumb" questions that I may pop off with from time to time...it's appreciated.

You folks take care of yourselves.

    Steve
