Have a feeling Lote will go back to League. It'd be a shame to lose him simply as the Tahs are already short on wing options. In terms of the bigger picture, the Wallabies and the cash it frees up for the ARU, it's probably a good thing.

RUPAs since said they're comfortable with the deadline due to the amount of history, but where they would stand on the issue if Lote decided to claim right and delay would be interesting. I think he'll sign - if he doesn't and the ARU stands firm, watch the NRL offers magically shrink.
