Wallabies forward David Lyons has been selected in the New South Wales starting line-up for the first time this season for Saturday's Super 14 match against South Africa's Bulls in Sydney.

Oh yes, he was very worthy of taking over from Kefu at one time.

It's a fair form slump though. From about 2003 for the Wallabies and 2005 for the Tahs.

Rumour mill over here has David Lyons as a possible signing for Bath Rugby after the RWCup...any news from your end Sage?

Haven't heard about that. He's only 26 though, surely the retirement fund doesn't need proping up yet?

Lyons and Fava are my two favourite no.8's, with a fit and in form Lyons my first choice...This hasn't been the case for Lyons for a while now, but i think he may come into form this year with a bit of luck...
