Big temptation but, on balance, not a big call.
As Scotty said himself in the paper yesterday, this one incident may have cost him a RWC berth or his absence (if the Force were to lose) may cost the Force a semi final spot. Maybe even cost him a contract renewal, his words (roughly) not mine.
If I had that talent and was in that position there's not a snow flakes chance in hell that I would put it at any form of risk and, going by his very public plan for the future, I don't think you will be seeing Scotty in the media again for off field behaviour either!

There is almost no chance you will hear anything other than positive reports on scotty now, as he will be busting his arse to prove to connolly that he has what it takes to make RWC07, and that this incident is a hiccup only...He has the ability to make players player every week, put it into action and he will be there ...

Well I guess I haev to agre a 100% with you there, I would imagine a lot of the players pick him any day of the week as the man they want standing by them on the field. He gives it everything.

But he'll only have to look at a beer and he will be crucified in the Media now...
